FDCC tryouts begin at CLDJ
On Jan. 22, 2025, participants from CJTF-HOA and Camp Lemonnier participated in the French Desert Commando Course tryouts. They performed a variety of exercises including a 2.5 mile run, rope climb, push-ups, pull-ups, swimming, and many more to be selected to represent the U.S. in the competition that occurs later in the year.

Participants from Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa supported the Decan Wildlife Refuge running at the Cross du Refuge Décan 10k, Jan. 31, 2025. Decan, a french acronym DÉCouvrir et Aider la Nature ‘discover and help nature’ was started in 2001 by a veterinarian to help animals with rehabilitation.
