CJTF-HOA Brings Experience, Abilities Together to Conduct Sustainment Operations across Somalia

U.S. Africa Command designated CJTF-HOA as BOS-I in August 2016, putting the 500-person task force in charge of coordinating the efficient use of mission resources to sustain U.S. forces in forward operating locations in Somalia. CAMP LEMONNIER, Djibouti-- Service members deployed to Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa (CJTF-HOA) welcomed their new commander during a change of command ceremony, June 14. U.S. Army Brig. Gen. William Zana, outgoing commander of CJTF-HOA transferred responsibility to Brig. Gen. James Craig. U.S. Marine Corps Gen.
