CJTF Chaplain Celebrates Holy Week with Deployed Personnel

During his visit to various units around East Africa, Chaplain (U.S. Air Force Lieutenant Colonel) David Terrinoni celebrated Christian Holy Week with Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa (CJTF-HOA) personnel beginning with a Palm Sunday service on April 17.

U.S. Army Soldier Recognized for Heroism

U.S. Army Specialist Juan Salazar, a 418th Delta Company soldier, was awarded the U.S. Army Commendation Medal by U.S. Army Brigadier General William Glasgow, Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa (CJTF-HOA) deputy commander, on March 29, during the 418th Civil Affairs Battalion end of tour and recognition ceremony.
