PIO Conference 2016

Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa recently hosted the East Africa Public Information Officer Conference at the Djibouti Palace Kempinski. The importance of communication to the public and the use of social media across East Africa were discussed amongst personnel from six East African nations, AFRICOM, the U.S. Department of State and AMISOM.

USS Bataan and 24th MEU conduct training in Horn of Africa
