An actor in the ARMY??? Staff Sgt. Greg Williams, an actor and U.S. Army reservist, uses his civilian experience to augment the mission of the 411th Civil Affairs Battalion in the Horn of Africa. In cooperation with the International Development and Relief Board, he created a video series to help promote best practices for livestock care and treatment in Djibouti - enhancing economic sustainment for the country.

Equipment operators complete road construction to help facilitate US/French mission operations

A project several months in the making finally came to fruition July 30 with the help of a few equipment operators from the Naval Mobile Construction Battalion One, assigned to Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti.

Service members prepare for French Desert Commando Course

U.S. military members conducted a physical training test at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, Aug. 5, 2017. The test was in preparation for an upcoming multi-day French Desert Commando Course that will challenge participants physically and mentally through land and water obstacles, combat scenarios and extreme endurance exercises while surviving in austere field conditions.
