Service members of Combined Joint Task Force – Horn of Africa and Camp Lemonnier participate in the ruck march portion of the Joint Warrior Competition, Djibouti, Sep. 9, 2017. The grueling course traversed the camp and a nearby Djiboutian beach, looping down and back to accommodate a 7-km run, 600-meter swim and 7-km ruck march. Camp Lemonnier personnel exercise mass casualty response procedure with French partners

Personnel assigned to Camp Lemonnier and Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa (CJTF-HOA) participated in a bilateral exercise with French troops here, Sept. 6. The purpose was to exercise multiple unit support and response to a mass casualty (MASCAL) incident.

The Combined Joint Task Force – Horn of Africa’s 443rd Civil Affairs Battalion (CAB) Functional Specialty Group (FXSP) veterinarians spayed, dewormed and immunized the cats of Caritas Djibouti here, Aug 30.
