CJTF-HOA EARF prepares for an Outstation Crisis Response Exercise at Manda Bay, Kenya

U.S. military service members from Combined Joint Task Force – Horn of Africa (CJTF-HOA), will forward deploy to Manda Bay, Kenya, and conduct an outstation crisis response exercise (OSCRE) March 26, 2025.
U.S. service members and partners from France, Germany, Italy, Japan, South Korea, the United Kingdom participated in the first Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa CJ-5 Directorate-led simulated crisis response tabletop exercise at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, Feb. 27, 2025. The scenarios included realistic constraints and challenged participants to identify opportunities for their respective militaries to support one another in the event of a crisis.
