ROK hosts coalition partners for inaugural anniversary

Members of the Republic of Korea’s Navy demonstrate hand-to-hand combat skills aboard the Choi Young Destroyer Dec. 21, 2015, in Djibouti. Navy Capt. Sangmin An, ROK Naval Escort Task Group 20th commander, invited members of Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the inauguration of the Republic of Korea’s Navy and the ongoing, mutually beneficial relationship between the United States and the Republic of Korea. The Republic of Korea provides two foreign liaison officers who support the sharing of information and best practices between CJTF-HOA and the Republic of Korea.
