Exercise Bull Shark, led by Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa (CJTF-HOA), is a joint training between U.S. service members and with European Union Naval Force (EUNAVFOR) to conduct crisis response and personnel recovery training in order to reinforce combat capabilities and partnership interoperability between like-minded partners in a combined joint environment.

The purpose is to enable strategic access throughout East Africa and increase ability to employ integrated and rehearsed multi-domain capabilities.

CJTF-HOA successfully collaborates with EUNAVFOR to increase its ability to support and facilitate future partnerships throughout East Africa.
