Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa Image

U.S. military and Department of State officials meet with Somalia President Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed in Mogadishu, Somalia, Oct. 12, 2017. Topics of interest covered during the meeting included U.S. and Somali national interests in the region and opportunities to strengthen the Somali National Security Forces, particularly as the African Union mission in Somalia troops transition out of the security role in coming years.
