CJTF-HOA kick starts first-ever relationship with Intergovernmental Authority on Development

Republic of Korea Marine Maj. Hyunchang Choi, far right end, a foreign liaison officer (FLO) assigned to Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa (CJTF-HOA), starts a discussion during the first-ever formal meeting between FLOs and U.S. military members assigned to CJTF-HOA, and officials from the Intergovernmental Authority on Development in Djibouti, Jan. 16, 2019. The purpose of the meeting was for both parties to familiarize themselves with each other’s missions and goals through a short information exchange and set the stance for future meetings.
