CJTF-HOA, U.S. Embassy celebrate Iftar in Djibouti

A Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa service member reaches for a date during an Iftar celebration at the home of U.S. Embassy Djibouti’s senior defense attaché in Djibouti, May 12, 2019. The Iftar is a fast-breaking meal Muslims have after sunset during Ramadan, the ninth month of the Islamic year observed with daily fasting from dawn to sunset.
