Combined Joint Task Force - Horn

U.S. Army medics with Task Force Red Dragon, Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa (CJTF-HOA), participate in a Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TC3) information exchange with Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF) at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, May 27, 2022. The event allowed U.S. and Japanese forces to exchange information on life-saving combat care and improved overall interoperability between the forces. Lapse In Appropriations
The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EDT on Sept. 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status, without pay, until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.
