ROK hosts coalition partners for inaugural anniversary

Navy Capt. Sangmin An, ROK Naval Escort Task Group 20th commander, invited members of Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the inauguration of the Republic of Korea’s Navy and the ongoing, mutually beneficial relationship between the United States and the Republic of Korea.

The race was originally established in 1982 as an internal event for the French, organized by the 13th demi-brigade of the French Foreign Legion until 2010.
