150822-N-DJ346-016 CAMP LEMONNIER, Djibouti (August 22, 2015) French and U.S. service members prepare to transport the first of two French Puma Helicopters and associated Passengers & Cargo to N'Djamena aboard a U.S. Air Force C-17 Globemaster. The helicopters support French operations at the intersecting borders of Libya, Chad and Niger deterring weapons and drug smuggling, and jihadist regularly crossing between nations.
