The JWC was open to U.S. service members assigned to CJTF-HOA and Camp Lemonnier, and consisted of a 6-mile ruck march with participants carrying bags that weighed no less than 35 pounds, a timed first-aid administration challenge, a timed weapons disassembly and reassembly challenge, a timed essay writing contest, a joint physical training challenge and a combat fitness test.
