A primary function for the Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa foreign liaison office is to build relationships and rapport with foreign partners. U.S. Army CPT Walker and U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Norris have used their love of sports to foster ties with Japanese Self-Defense Force members here in Djibouti.

Approximately 600 Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti (CLDJ), residents volunteer to receive the first round of the COVID-19 vaccine Feb. 27, 2021. After this round, the total vaccinated personnel at CLDJ has risen to more than 1,100.
