CJTF-HOA participates in 40th Djiboutian Independence Day’s military parade

Djibouti gained its independence from France on June 29, 1977, making this year a special 40th anniversary celebration. The annual Djiboutian Independence Day celebrations are used to highlight Djiboutian traditions such as singing and dancing and to promote peace, equality, and unity as the nation works its way into another year of Independence. The military parade is an important part of the celebrations, giving the Djiboutian National Army an opportunity to build relationships with its Multinational partners.
